Please Read These Terms And Conditions Carefully Before Using Our Services. By Registering For, Accessing, Or Using The Famremit Service, You Agree To Be Bound By These Terms And Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the money transfer services (the "Service") provided by Famremit, a trading name of Aymed PTY LTD (ACN 656 294 183) ("Famremit", "we", "us", or "our").
1. Definitions
- Service: The online platform and associated services offered by Famremit for sending money internationally.
- User/You/Sender: The individual registered with Famremit to initiate a money transfer.
- Recipient/Beneficiary: The individual designated by the Sender to receive the money transfer.
- Transaction: A specific instruction from you to send money through our Service.
- Transfer Amount: The principal amount of currency that you wish to send to the Recipient, exclusive of any applicable fees.
- Transaction Fee: The fee we charge for the money transfer service.
- Payout Amount: The amount paid out to the Recipient after currency conversion and deduction of any applicable fees or charges from third-party intermediaries.
- Exchange Rate: The rate of exchange we apply to convert the Transfer Amount into the currency to be received by the Recipient.
- AML/CTF: Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing.
- AUSTRAC: The Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre.
2. The Service
2.1. The Service allows you to send international money transfers to Recipients in countries supported by Famremit.
2.2. To use the Service, you must register for an account, provide necessary identification documents, and initiate a Transaction through our website or mobile application.
2.3. We are an independent contractor for all purposes and are not your agent or trustee. We do not hold deposits. Our Service is limited to processing your money transfer request.
3. Eligibility and User Account
3.1. You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract to use our Service.
3.2. You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself and your Recipient as prompted by the registration and transaction process.
3.3. Identity Verification (Know Your Customer - KYC): In compliance with the AML/CTF Act and AUSTRAC regulations, we are legally required to verify your identity before we can provide the Service. This may require you to provide government-issued photographic identification (e.g., Passport, Driver's Licence) and other documents. We reserve the right to refuse service or delay any Transaction if we are unable to satisfactorily verify your identity.
3.4. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account password and login details. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Executing a Transaction
4.1. To initiate a Transaction, you must provide all required information, including the full name, address, and bank account details of the Recipient, and the Transfer Amount. It is your sole responsibility to ensure all Recipient details are accurate.
4.2. We will provide you with a quote which includes the Transfer Amount, our Exchange Rate, and the Transaction Fee. By confirming the Transaction, you accept this quote.
4.3. Funding a Transaction: You must pay us the total amount (Transfer Amount + Transaction Fee) using one of the approved payment methods. The Transaction will only be processed once we have received cleared funds from you.
4.4. The Exchange Rate quoted is indicative and subject to change. The final Exchange Rate applicable to your Transaction will be the rate set at the time we receive your cleared funds and process the Transaction.
4.5. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse any Transaction or limit the amount of a Transaction. Reasons include failure to verify identity, suspected fraud, compliance issues, or insufficient funds.
5. Fees and Charges
5.1. Our Transaction Fee will be disclosed to you before you confirm the Transaction.
5.2. You acknowledge that third-party banks or services may impose their own fees on the Payout Amount. Famremit is not responsible for those charges.
5.3. You agree to reimburse Famremit for any NSF fees, chargebacks, or other fees incurred due to your Transaction.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
6.1. Transactions may be cancelled if they haven’t been paid out. Contact support promptly.
6.2. Refunds will be processed to the funding account using the prevailing exchange rate. Currency fluctuation losses are your responsibility.
6.3. Transaction Fees are generally non-refundable.
6.4. For failed Transactions due to user error, we will try to recover funds but cannot guarantee success. Fees may apply.
7. Prohibited Activities
- Illegal activities such as money laundering or terrorist financing
- Payments for illegal goods/services
- Gambling
- Fraudulent or deceptive schemes
- Violation of laws or these Terms
We will report suspicious activity to AUSTRAC or law enforcement.
8. Limitation of Liability
- Service is provided "as is" without warranties
- We are not liable for delays from third-party banks or Force Majeure
- Liability is limited to the Transfer Amount and Transaction Fee
- No liability for indirect or consequential damages
9. Privacy Policy
Your use of our Service constitutes consent to data handling practices per our Privacy Policy, which complies with the Australian Privacy Principles. View it on our website.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

11. Amendments
We may revise these Terms anytime. You will be notified via website updates or email. Continued use means you accept the changes.

- These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the full agreement
- Invalid terms will be severed without affecting the rest
